RENTING A PROPERTY?
Firstly, a massive welcome to our visitors and a massive thank you for allowing us to be a part of your South African experience!
All rates displayed on our site are actual prices, and no additional commissions or costs are added to the prices displayed.
Payment structure:
On acceptance of your lease agreement, a 50% deposit is payable into an allocated Trust Account held by the2010HUB and a letter confirming this security will be issued for your records.
The balance of your payment will only need to be paid 30 days prior to the commencement of your booking and this payment is made up by the remaining 50% of your accommodation amount plus a 10% breakages deposit.
This 10% deposit will cover all insurance excesses and smaller breakage items, the balance of which will be paid back to you after such deductions have taken place.
Please note: 69Euros of this 10% is non-refundable, and is automatically paid over as your contribution toward holiday insurance over your accommodation.
LISTING A PROPERTY?
Please note: The average rate received for the 2006 World Cup in Germany was 189Euro per person per night sharing.
Examples of possible rental calculations:
• (A) 10 Sleeper- a 5 bedroom villa rented out at 100 Euro per night per person
and with a 100% occupancy… will put you in the running for approximately
R392700-00 (Calculated over a six week period and at an exchange rate of R11-00 to 1Euro)
• (B) 6 Sleeper- a 3 bedroom house rented out at 110 Euro per night per person
and with a 80% occupancy… will put you in the running for approximately
R207345-00 (Calculated over a six week period and at an exchange rate of R11-00 to 1Euro)
• (C) 2 Sleeper- a 1 bedroom apartment rented out at 120 Euro per night per person
and with a 60% occupancy… will put you in the running for approximately
R56548-00 (Calculated over a six week period and at an exchange rate of R11-00 to 1Euro)
These larger than life figures may be difficult to get your mind around but remember…
this is an international event and therefore the2010HUB will be bringing you international rentals.
These figures do represent approximations, but they are very attainable!
Being a part of the action is as easy as uploading your advert and photographs, and then making your listing payment via EFT
Listing Fees are calculated on a reducing scale to add to the affordability:
First Property R749.00
Second Property R549.00
Third Property onwards R249.00
This amount is your total commitment and commissions are only payable if and when we have rented your property out. This commission is calculated at 15% of the total contract price and is payable from your guest’s accommodation payment, so in no way is money paid from your pocket
(Please note: The accepted commission in the holiday accommodation market is 20%)
